About Uncle Buck

Uncle Buck will initially lend between £75 - £400, however once you show you can pay these amounts back, Uncle Buck will lend you up to £1000. You will have to pay this back on your next payday. They charge £30 for every £100 you borrow, which is similar to what other payday lenders charge.

You can apply online or over the phone with Uncle Buck. To apply online, you need to complete their online application form. When you have done this, they will send you an email or a text message with their preliminary decision. You will then have access to sign the loan agreement on their website. They will then verify your bank details, review the completed application and agreement, and the cash will be immediately transferred. They advertise the fact that you don't need to fax anything to them. However, they may ask you to send documents in in exceptional cases. The funds will usually be with you around 2 hours after they have received your application.

Uncle Buck advertise the fact that they don't run credit checks so may be a good option if you haven't got the best credit history. However, customer reviews have mostly complained about the fact they have had to send documentation in when Uncle Buck advertise they don't need any. While this seems to be the exception rather than the rule, be prepared to fax some details over if your history isn't the best. Only apply to this lender if you are certain you can pay it back on the next pay day otherwise you may experience extreme charges. Similar to other lenders, they have been known to pass your debt onto a collections company but still take the repayment sum from your debit card - be aware of this.
