You can apply online or over the phone with Swift Money. If you apply online, simply fill out the application form. Once you have completed the online application form, their team will verify your details and they will contact you to ask for your debit card and bank account details. If approved, you will have to sign an electronic agreement that they send to you via email. Once you've sent this back, they will verify the whole application and the money can be transferred into your account within 24 hours.
Swift Loans are not the cheapest option out there but certainly not the most expensive. A few customer reviews seem to say that they were told they were approved all the way through application and after sending documents and waiting for the funds to clear in their account, they were told that they had been declined. Do not make any purchases until the money is securely in your account. Make sure that you can pay back when you say you can or you will be end up having some really high charges added to your loan. The charges for late payments are highlighted at the bottom of this page. Their website does not show any terms and conditions or a privacy policy section. It is also not SSL secured so any details you put in can be accessed by 3rd parties. Swift Money have been know to avoid contacting you if you fall into arrears, just letting your repayment amount increase continuously. If you know you aren't going to be able to make a payment, contact them immediately so it doesn't get out of control.

they wouldn't tell me their APR!
Donna, Manchester

Really poor communication. I decided to bypass the website and spoke to an advisor whom I found really quite obnoxious. I wasn't able to get a straight answer about the APR. The best response I could get after asking about the APR was an explanation about how interest works – which I already fully understand – but was still given no figures. I eventually...

What a Sham

They use one company who offer one thing, when in fact you get nothing of what you were interested in. As with any of these shams you will immediately receive a 'provisional acceptance' subject to - and this is the crunch, they say one thing such as 'No documents required' and then you need documents or they call you at work and simply the Data Protection...

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
i USED THIS COMPANY AND IT ALL WENT WELL. I then got into dificulty and set up a payment plan. I then got into further difficulty and could no longer maintain the payments. They have since tried to take £100 from my bank account on a daily basis. On the odd occassion there is money in there they take it without any care. On the occasion there isn't money there it causes me to go overdrawn without authorization and I therefore incuur charges and owe the bank money. ALL THESE TRANSACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM A CARD I HAVE CANCELLED. My bank are looking into this and I have notified the police. Please STAY AWAY. At least use someone else if you have to borrow
Bad experience

I put my details in to the site and sat back and waited to be contacted as instructed. One, two, three days passed and then I eventually folded and rang them up. I was then told I was approved, and while a little cheesed off that I had to ring them, myself and operator went through the procedures and how it was going to be paid out – with a promise at the end that I could have the money the next day for a small fee. Exactly one week later, after handing all my details over to them, with guarantees that the money would be in my account by a certain day ( this had come and gone ) I rang them to find they had lost my application and would have to reapply WITH documents. An absolute shambles.
