First Response deal in car and motorbike loans for anything between £1000 and £10,000 over a repayment period of 18-48 months. First Response can offer you a service even if you have previously been declined for credit.
You can apply online for a First Response Finance loan or over the phone. During the application you will tell them what car you are looking to buy, they'll then value it for you for free to ensure you are not paying too much for the vehicle. There is the option for single or joint applications. They liaise with the dealer directly for you about the financing of the vehicle. They will also provide a FREE check to ensure that the car has not been stolen in the past or been subject to an insurance write-off. If you are looking for a particular car they will help you find it through a list of reputable dealers in your area.
The APR is quite high. They are limited in terms of what car you can finance. On the plus side they do a lot of leg work for you with the dealer. Previous customers have explained that they are impressed with the customer service and the people they have dealt with. Overall, they're worth a look as they can be a really good option for a finance deal (especially if you don't have the best credit) and you don't have to pay a deposit like some other car finance dealers.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE... returned my car to them after losing my job. Thats when they turned nasty... REALLY nasty.
They constantly harassed my wife at work until she cried, claiming we owed them money !! Then they phoned/harassed my neighbour who is 83, this happened in 2010 and is still going on now - after 2 years !!

used them twice and about to use them again no probs,very helpful and efficient,apr bit high but thats down to me cause of my credit rating but having said that they got me out of trouble when i used them first time and the vehicle broke down they contacted the dealer and the car was put right at no cost.so well done first response the name says it all.

i have had sketchy credit history, after approaching several dealers,i was put through to first response, within 1 hour i had the funds and picked up the car the following day after organising the insurance, excellent service, will deal with them again...
