Amigo loans offer guarantor loans to people who have been turned down elsewhere. A guarantor loan is where you can borrow money even if you have a bad credit score, as long as you have a friend or family member who is willing to stand as guarantor.
Your guarantor will need to be older than 18 and younger than 70 years of age. They will need to have a good credit history and they will need to have enough money to make repayments on the loan if for some reason you can’t pay.
You can apply for an Amigo loan online at www.amigoloans.co.uk. The entire application process is on their web site and takes no more than 5 minutes. You will need to enter your loan requirements, contact and financial details and you will need to agree to the terms of the loan.
Once you have applied you will be asked to find your guarantor.
The Amigo Loans web site is secure and your personal information will be safe with them.
Amigo loans used to be called FLM Loans, so some of these reviews say FLM Loans, but don't worry, they are all about the same company

Don't get sucked in by this company. I stood as guarantor for my son's partner and all seemed well.......til she stopped paying. Then we got the usual phone calls etc from FLM. Nice enough at first but after the first few calls that changed markedly. I tried explaining my personal situation (wife ill, no work) but there was no leeway. Now I find out...

i took a £3000 loan with these people i have never missed a payment and only owe them £93 and my guarantor was my mum whos credit has not changed in one bit yet when i applied for a topup loan they told me i had to find a new guarantor as they done a credit check and they did not pass yet when ask how they can still be used as a guarantor for the current loan they just kept repeating that they failed to meet their standards .SO I will be GLAD to be rid of these unhelpful people oh and on a £3000 loan the intrest was around £2000 costing around £5000 in total, yet on a £5000 over the same period of time costs well over £12000 to pay back complete rip off stay well clear.

I'm serving as a guarantor for my nephew to build up some credit since he is young and at University, which I am happy to do. But the tactics that 'Amigo' have used to complete the application and now to collect on the funds has been ridiculous. I'm just going to pay the thing off and be done with it and get him to build his credit elsewhere. Pushy salespeople to 'up-sell' an amount he didn't need, added fees, and rude collectors (and he only missed one payment). So sorry I told him to give it a try. I have been officially robbed at the border by bandits.
is this a joke?

i've had constant texts, emails and now a letter telling me i can borrow £5000. i didn't apply to this company but another one. to borrow £5000 i'd have to pay back £11859!! £6859 MORE than i actually borrow! it also states in the letter, a garantor has to own their own home but this is an unsecured loan. 'we just need to know the garantor trusts you.' a garantor is the one RESPONSIBLE for paying back anything YOU don't pay! this is stated in tiny print on the back.
i'm complaining about this comapany and definitely will not be borrowing from them!
