I applied for a loan online and my application was rejected. The next day I had a voice mail, asking me to call and update my details. To verify you, they will call your work and tell your work who they are. If you call them expect to wait around 15 plus minutes for someone to answer. My application was accepted in the morning, it was late afternoon before I heard anything. I was offered the 'express service for £20 so the money would be in my account within the hour, It wasn't needed as the cash was in my account that day.If you're in a hurry, this isn't the company for you.

I had a pay day loan with this bunch of crooks, and agreed to repay on 28 feb my wages unfortunately did not reach my account first thing in the morning when they tried to reclaim the money they went in later in the day. when they rang me i said i would ensure it was paid next day, which i did i paid it on line using all the account information they gave me, two days later i found that they had taken the money again from my account. 2 weeks on i am still trying to get my money back !!! apparently they havent received it despite me sending them copy bank statement clearly showing the transactions, and a copy of the actual transaction. My bank are now looking into this as they have confirmed that the money has been paid into their account. I am going to report this organisation to the necessary authorities, they are clearly a bunch of crooks, please dont use them they do not answer any emails or queries, their representatives are argumentative and clearly enjoy seeing people in distress because of their practice.

Please avoid these tricksters and loan sharks at all costs!!! They have bad customer service and seem to forget who they have working at their office!! I took out a £100 payday loan with them as my partner had just been made redudant and couldnt afford the bills until i got paid and then had the unfortunate happening and i got made redundant. Sorted out all my other debtors who seemed happy to wait until my partner's first payday at the end of the month except this loan sharks. Said they couldnt freeze any interest or stop payment until i made a token payment of £50.00. Well the next day managed to get togehter £50.00 together to freeze this until end of month only to be told by another operator David that the gentlemen i spoke to the previous day doesnt have the authority and all their operators work on their own basis (not company policies) with regards to overdue accounts etc. So i moved money over into my other account to stop these fraudsters taking what money we had and they proceeded to take what we did have left £81.00 without my authoirty!! Rang them to say right you have had more than £50.00 so now freeze my account with David saying okay we can and the rest due at the end of hte month to then find the next day that they had taken anotehr £81.00 and get an email saying yes your loan repaid!!! I was livid rang their customer number to be told David doesnt work there and basically oh well weve got our money you will have to email complaints department. I am now in the process of having this last transaction investigated by the fraud department of my bank as they lied to me that the account was frozen and no money would be taken. PLEASE AVOID THESE FRAUDSTERS AS THEY WILL TAKE ALL OF YOUR MONEY WITH NO CARE IN THE WORLD SO LONG AS THEY HAVE THEIR MONEY AND LIE THEIR WAY OUT OF EVERY THING!!!

I came across them by search engine. I was desparate at the time, never a good idea to get payday loans.I lost my job, the company cheque bounced I had the worst luck ever just before Christmas.I called explained my situation. Each time the customer service person was rude. I felt like I was the lowest of the low the way I was spoken to.I got some money given as a Christmas present and wanted to give them something as a token payment to look good. I couldn't afford much. The next day they took out another 2, yes 2 further payments from my account.I couldn't believe it!!I was fuming as that left me short on other bills I needed to pay.I couldn't contact them, despite them supposedly being open over the festive season.I finally got hold of them 7 days after only to be told again by a rude customer service person that my account was cleared.I wanted a breakdown of the payments I made and what the final amount was in re payment and he told me I had an email sent to me, but liar! I looked on my emails and nothing was sent to confirm so it was I who had to write to them for a statement. They are full of rude employers, who all speak with a very strong foreign accent that when you can't hear or understand them and ask to repeat, they make out like you're the dumb one!Avoid or better still, avoid getting a payday loan if you can help it.

Absolute waste of time and money. This company is a scammer. Dont believe the good looking website and the fake reviews. If you apply with these it will do nothing but cost you money. 0871 premium rate number 10p per min. Will not answer for over 40min. Will lead you on to think you have a loan then will not contact you or reply to your emails so your call the premium rate number. Do what i do select option 4 and go to there collection department. They will tell you that you have come through to the wrong number. They will then say the information they have will be limited. They will tell you that you are approved. They will then say funds are waiting to be paid and watch your email and it is with the underwriter. This is a hoax to get you to ring the right department and wait 40min on the line to be told you the same as what the collection department have just told you. Dont hold your breath with this firm. I do believe they pay some people but very few. Go to wonga or quick quid as these guys are just con artists

Hi guys just thought I would write up my experience with these guys, obviously using payday loans r a last ditch resort for getting money and now looking back I really wish I hadn't got involved, like many people Iv come across u may have 4-5 loans out with these payday lenders, I came across 247 moneybox by chance and needed cash so I applied, I was accepted straight away got my pin and the next day I had the funds available......trouble hit home when I realised I couldn't pay all these loans of in the time they wanted so after getting advice from the national debt line they advised me to contact each lender and set up payment plans, all the companies I was dealing with we're so helpful and arranged for payments at a price I could afford over a concession of months :-) happy days.....well no not with 247 moneybox they couldn't give a damn about my situation and claimed they couldn't help until my payment is due then rejected then interest applied!! Then they can help. I was horrified I'm struggling so I have to get myself in deeper debt to gain help.....that is awful!! On my due date I had money in my account to pay the others but 247 took to the whole lot....after complaining which got me now where and speaking to customer service who are so rude and unhelpful I was left with no option :-( they didnt care! I had a remaining blance of 40 pounds which they told me they would freeze intreset on and debit from my account next month a date we both agreed.....finally I was getting somewhere. Well the story continues on that due date they didn't take a penny :-/ very strange seeing as they cleared me out last month alarm bells started ringing so a few days later I logged into my account to pay the remainder, great I was happy my dealings with them were over.....hmmm not likely!! A week later I get my bank statement £140 had been taken from 247 moneybox I couldn't believe it I was so upset and angry so I called them basically they claimed they tried to take the money out on the due date but it was declined, well after speaking with my bank they verified no payment had been taken or tried by 247 monvbox on or around that date they also confirmed I had over a grand in my account so it's hardly gonna decline! I contacted training standards took their advice and complained via email....with in 30mins an account manager called to say it was a cock up on their behalf and the money will be refunded.....bloody too right!! anyways just have ur eyes wide opening dealing with this lender try other companies first 247 have no interest in helping and are on the fine lines of being legal! Good luck and beware.

used these a couple of times over the last year, overall not bad unless you develop a problem as i did changed banks added a new card they collect their money my bank stops them as they were attempting to take it in small amounts and my bank suspected fraud?they eventually got their money a day late after i told the bank it was ok but it destroyed my rating with them, up to then they had been ok.the problem is you are bombarded with texts and calls even at work if a payment fails until its sorted.

I applied for £100 loan and was accepted my account has now been 4 days saying approved waiting for funding
The 2 minute funding for £6 is an absolete joke
Tried to call them numberous times and they leave you on hold for 15 mins plus at 10p per minute and never answer. Have also sent them 5 emails to customer.services@247moneybox.com which they never bother to reply to and in the last few days the emails just come back saying there are permanent errors

I applied for a pay day loan, their online application wasn't accepting my pay frequency as i get paid on a specific date monthly, which will change to a day before if it falls on a sunday....
24/7 didnt accept those dates, asked me to call their customer services, ended up being on hold for atleast 23 mins, hung up re-dialed again, was on hold for 17mins, some one answered, not even a hello, call gets disconnected from their end...
I ended up with a 0871 telephone bill for atleast 50 mins with zero in my account..... I wouldnt recommend

They may seem appealing but their customer service number is 10p a minute and I guarantee they will keep you on hold for AT LEAST fifteen minutes but probably much longer before answering your call. They have rude staff who fob you off as quick as possible and then if you need to call back you will be on hold again. Every single part of this operation is designed to fleece you of money and its really horrible. Please look elsewhere because the customer service is awful. The first time I used them they were ok but have had huge problems since - and that was with repaying on time. Don't believe the stuff about 2 minute funding either - you'll pay £6 for it but in my experience it was more like 4 days. Don't use this company if you have any pride left!

An 0871 contact number generating substantial revenue for them which is why they leave you on hold for as long as possible

Filled out the form, added all my details including csv number (I realise how stupid that was now) clicked submit details and got told they needed more info. 6 months later £700.00 went missing from my bank account. They have no verisign stamp on their website, which means all your bank details are visible to any member of staff. The thawte stamp just means it's a website. Hope this information helps. If it hasn't got a verisign stamp your details are available to anybody who works in the company.

I found the overall service good but would recommend very short term borrowing as I have never seen an APR that High before. However, because the amounts they lend are quite small (up to £200 ) if its just something you need until pay day – all be it with a small word of warning about not paying it back on time.

Had similar experiences to a lot of people who have expressed their views about this loan on various forums, with the main problem being that the APR isn't exactly competitive. Having said that the money was with me extremely quickly after paying a small £20 fee. Not sure if I will use again as I am positive there must be better pay day deals around and I certainly wouldn't dare risk borrowing the full £800 they offer their regular customers in case I ran into any problems.

247Moneybox.com can lend you between £80 - £800 although new customers can only borrow up to £200. Taking out loans regularly will prove to them that you are responsible at paying them back.
New customers can apply online and existing customers can apply online or via text. You can apply by texting them with a PIN number you will be given after your initial application. For new customers, you will need to complete the application form on the website. Once you have completed the form, it will be passed onto a representative for further checks. They will contact you if they require any further information.
They charge 1.1% on the balance daily, so the quicker you pay back the loan, the less you pay. They payout within the hour for a small fee which you don't have to pay up front. If you do run into problems with them, make sure you do everything in writing and make copies of it just in case the problem goes further. Also, they may contact your place of work if you run into payment trouble.
Please note that a 12 pence charge is required to validate your debit card. The 12 pence is non refundable, even if your application is unsuccessful.
The cost of credit with this lender is £67.32 for every £200 borrowed. This means that if £200 is borrowed over 28 days £267.32 will be due in full on day 28.
